Butter Tart Squares
Combine one cup flour and ¼ cup sugar. Cut in ½ cup butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press into an ungreased 9" pan and bake at 350’ for 15 min.
Beat together:
2 lightly beaten eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp vanilla
1 pinch salt
Stir in 1 cup raisins and ½ cup chopped pecans
Pour over crust and bake at 350’ for 25 min or until the filling is almost firm.
Let cool and cut into small squares
